Tip for Green Construction Skopje

 

The first information event was held in May this year to identify all stakeholders for establishing the Green Construction Council of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, As part of the National Network Green Construction Network in the Western Balkans region. This activity is part of the EECR project as part of the Reconomy -INCLUSIVE and Green Economic Development Program of the Swedish Agency for International Development Cooperation (Like), Implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation in partnership with Capprosard and others from Eastern Partnership and Western Balkan countries. At the event held in the premises of the Chamber of Certified Architects and Certified Engineers there were more than 70 present from the construction industry, companies investing in the construction sector, Construction companies, Building Materials Companies and Energy Effective Cooling and Heating Equipment, Project study, real estate agencies, educational institutions, NGOs, and individuals ready to introduce changes in the market to green building practices.

As a result of the initiative and the event, the process of forming the Association of Green Construction Council was followed, Skopje, as a non -partisan, NGO and nonprofit association, Due to the achievement of goals in the areas of construction, united under the term green building and sustainability, Raising awareness for the needs to adopt and take measures in accordance with standards for preserving natural resources and reducing harmful environmental impacts.

The construction sector, especially the residential building in the Western Balkans, participates with a high percentage of 30% to 60% From the overall national energy consumption, compared to approximately 40% in the EU. That is why the construction sector can play a significant role in reducing energy consumption and significantly reducing energy costs, water and air conditioning, as well as improving the environment.

These factors have stimulated the popularity of green architecture, Green skills, and the green buildings and construction. It is in this segment that the existence and action of green construction councils play a key role in promoting sustainable construction practices and can significantly influence the construction sector in the realization of new buildings as well as the reconstruction of existing buildings. The goals of the association are :

ü Encourage changes in planning and designing buildings and rebuilding existing buildings and buildings, as well as the way they use them and managing them;

ü Promotion and establishing concepts for efficient use of natural resources, the protection of the environment, Impact of climate change, the comfort of the users of the objects, socio-social responsibilities and economic viability;

ü Running care of the harmony of interests of all involved natural and legal persons (users, owners, participants in the occurrence of objects, their maintenance and management);

ü The association promotes green construction and technology, Spreads the acquired knowledge and experiences of transforming the construction and real estate market in the direction of sustainability.

The importance of establishing the Association Council for Green Construction, Skopje "-" GBC-SKOPJE "recognized the founders Knauf DOOEL Skopje, GI MACEDONIA AD Skopje,Philbis DOOEL Skopje,FMS DOOEL Skopje, Habitat-Macedonia Skopje and Stanton Construction DOOEL Bitola. The initiative for

Formation of the Northern Macedonia Green Construction Council is supported by the Chamber of Certified Architects and Certified Engineers as a key segment of the concept of green construction . This institution is a professional organization of architects and all engineers who can lead and promote the concept with their technical capacity “Green construction” . Who with its professional and spatial resources will support the action of the Green Construction Council, Skopje ”-“ GBC-SKOPJE .

 

The association is open to all involved in the construction sector, час поскоро потребни ни се сите чинители во градежната индустрија, Construction companies, проектни фирми, real estate agencies, академски кругови, NGOs, поединци и владини тела на едно место, подготвени да воведат промени на пазарот кон практиките за зелено градење
