With EU funding, RENEWX (Development and demonstration of technologies for compact heat exchangers exchange of renewable energy sources more) developed and demonstrated new technology for heat exchange and production methods, enabling enhanced penetration of the European market heat pumps . The solution increases the efficiency and reduces the size of the heat exchanger or evaporator, while integrating secondary or tertiary sources of energy.

Project partners developed a process to improve the coefficient of heat transfer to 18%.
