Macedonian Solar Association and Skopje City Mall for the fourth time they are organizing the SOLAR FAIR – MAXOL EXPO, which this year will be held from 4 to 7 June in Skopje City Mall.
The event will unite more than 25 companies from Macedonia and the region, which will present the latest products, technologies and solutions in the field of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.
Visitors will be able to view a wide variety of solar equipment, photovoltaic panels, batteries for storing electricity, heat pumps, photo-thermal collectors for the production of electricity and hot water, lightning protection, inverters, robots and machines for cleaning solar collectors, solar dryers, air collectors, electric bicycles, chargers, solar water heaters and other modern solar technology.
New to this year's edition are two additional segments, information on subsidies and favorable credit lines through the program "Green Financial Instrument" (Green Finance Facility – GFF), as well as the first "Installer Day", intended for networking between exhibiting companies and installers.
The first day of the fair, on 4 June is titled "GFF Day", according to the program that offers loans with grants for small and medium-sized enterprises and certain target groups of households for investments in energy-efficient solutions and renewable sources. The program is financed by the Joint Fund for the Sustainable Development Goals, The Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the EBRD, IOM, UNECE and financial institutions. At the GFF booth, visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with information regarding this program and the offers of banks and companies that will help in their energy transition. Through these programs, certain categories of citizens can also receive a grant component as part of the loan, including young people up to 35 years, returnees from abroad, as well as families where the woman is the breadwinner.
further, on 6 June, the first "Installer's Day" will be held, also with presentations at Cineplexx, intended specifically for installers, installers and companies from the sector.
