The leadership of the Macedonian Solar Association, Solar Macedonia, Coordination Meeting with Sanja Bozinovska held, The Minister of Energy, mining and mineral raw materials. Association, which unites more than 120 members of different sectors (producers, traders, designers, Experts, editor, investors), presented its role and importance of cooperation with the Ministry for further energy transition. The minister stressed the importance of cooperation in the context of energy development in the country.
Solar Macedonia is actively involved in the European working groups of Solar Heat Europe and Solar Key Mark Association and works on Solar System Subsidies Subidation, based on technical criteria and standards. The Association also emphasized the combined res (Renewable Energy Sources) systems, that are popular in Europe, and combine utilization of more renewable energy sources in combination with solar energy.
The Association has extensive experience in preparing recommendations for building energy efficient buildings, including Nearly Zero Energy Buildings, What is part of the Ministry's strategy.
The need to increase the installation capacity of photovoltaic systems was also discussed, As for the preparation of studies for the construction of Solar District Heating as a solution to reducing air pollution.
The minister highlighted the key points of the new Energy Law, such as the possibility of energy purchase through the concept of contracted for differentces and storage of energy with battery systems. She urged association representatives to participate in its creation to maximize renewable energy sources. Solar Macedonia representatives informed the minister about their activities, such as training for solar editors, energy calculations using Sotver and organization of annual events, Like Maxol Expo and the Solar Conference.
The Association also emphasized its strategic partnerships with Energy Key Expo in Rimini, Inter solar in Munich and Solar Plaza, contributing to the internationalization of its members and creating new collaborations.
In the end, It was agreed that Solar Macedonia would prepare proposals and submit them to the Ministry of Energy.
