The company TAB d.d. was founded in 1965 year as a subsidiary of the company Rudnik Mežica Holding in an area where they deal with lead through 350 years.

Today, TAB produces a wide range of lead-acid, VRLA AGM and VRLA Gel batteries and accumulators in three of the most modern factories in the EU with through 700 employees.

FIRST LOCATION (Slovenia, Mezhica):

A factory that produces INDUSTRIAL ACCUMULATORS, trademark TAB, with an annual capacity of 1.5 millions of medium-sized pieces of traction and stationary cells.

RECYCLING FACTORY. From approx 50 000t lead waste we produce approx 30 000t soft lead per year.

SECOND LOCATION (Slovenia, Mezhica):

Factory, which produces STARTER ACCUMULATORS that are sold under the TAB brand name Topla I TAB and Vesna, plus First Equipment-OEM (First Equipment) with an annual capacity of 2.0 millions to 2.5 million pieces (depending on the type of battery).

THIRD LOCATION (Macedonia, Probishtip):

Factory, which produces STARTER BATTERIES that are sold under the trade mark TAB brands VESNA with an annual capacity of 1 to 1.5 million pieces (depending on the type of battery).
